Frequently Asked Questions

See the below FAQs regarding our Cloud Services

What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud computing is the practice of using a networked remote server to host your infrastructure, applications and data. Instead of using a local server or a personal computer to access your applications and data, you access them from the internet, either through remote desktop or via a browser.

We're a small business, why should we use Cloud Services?

As a small business, IT costs can sometimes be more than you can afford. Using the cloud, you only ever pay for the resources you use. Instead of having to purchase servers etc. you can “rent” cloud services and pay on a monthly basis. You can also free up time of any existing internal IT staff to support your users better. All of the day to day maintenance of servers etc. that you purchase from a cloud provider are covered as part of the contract.

Where is my data stored?

Your data will be stored on multiple servers within the same central location, as well as servers in a separate data center. This means that even if your providers main data center is hit with by a disaster, your data will still be accessible from many other locations.

How do we pay?

You will be invoiced on a monthly basis for the resources that you have used. Paying monthly also allows you to switch your spending from capital expenditure to operational expenditure.

What happens when we sign up?

We will talk through your requirements and help provision the correct cloud solutions for your business. We can then continue to monitor and manage your services, keeping them running the way they should.
